An annual event-The Capital Region Buddy Walk-Go Team Lauren
Join me in promoting inclusion and awareness for the achievements of individuals with Down syndrome as we celebrate the Buddy Walk's 29th Anniversary on 9/28/2025.
Funds raised at the Buddy Walk have a direct impact on individuals with Down syndrome and their families in our communities at any stage of life. Here are just a few highlights of the accomplishments of the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center from the past year:
• 271 - Parent Education Consultations, Linkage, Outreach & Referrals Provided
• 138 - Professional Education Consultations, Linkage, Outreach & Referrals Provided
• 122 - Extra MILE Program – Modified Materials for Students with Disabilities
• 272 – Contacts with individuals that resulted in connections to services, information sharing and participation in DSAHRC’s programs and activities
• 1,412 - E-Distribution List: Total Subscribers
• 1,000 - DSAHRC Facebook Followers
